Welcome to Qazi Engineering Private Limited, a renowned company specialising in the production of cutting-edge machinery for the manufacturing of laundry and toilet soaps. We are delighted to introduce our advanced Laundry and Toilet Soap Manufacturing Plant, designed to meet the highest industry standards.
With our expertise and experience in the soap making machines industry, we have developed an advanced and efficient plant that incorporates cutting-edge technology and innovative features. Our soap manufacturing plant employs the highly acclaimed spray drying technique, ensuring the production of high-quality laundry and toilet soaps.
Soap drying technique is an industrial soap manufacturing process used to convert a liquid or slurry substance into dry powder form.Whether you are a small-scale producer or a large soap manufacturing company, our Laundry and Toilet Soap Manufacturing Plant offers the versatility and scalability to meet your specific requirements.
Optimum Moisture Content for Different Soap Types
Different types of soap require varying degrees of moisture content at the end of the drying process. Here are the recommended moisture content ranges for specific soap types:
- Toilet Soap: 12% – 15% moisture content
- Translucent Soap: 18% moisture content
- Laundry Soap: 22% – 30% moisture content
Total Fatty Matter (TFM) as a Quality Indicator
Another crucial factor in assessing the quality of soap at the end of the drying plant is the Total Fatty Matter (TFM) variable. TFM represents the total amount of fatty matter that can be extracted from a soap sample. A low TFM value is associated with lower quality soap.
Recommended TFM Ranges for Different Soap Types:
- Toilet Soap: 72% – 78% TFM
- Translucent Soap: 65% – 72% TFM
- Laundry Soap: 62% – 70% TFM
Spray Drying Manufacturing Process Supported by Qazi’s Soap Manufacturing Plant
The soap drying process typically consists of following steps:
Soap Filtration
The liquid soap from the saponification Crutcher is pumped through the soap filter to the feed tank. The soap filter ensures that the liquid soap passes through without any impurities or contaminants, protecting the pumps and other soap making machines. The soap feed tank accumulates the filtered liquid soap before it is pumped into the next step.
Liquid Soap Heating
After leaving the soap feed tank, the liquid soap is fed into the heat exchanger by the feed pump. The heat exchanger raises the temperature of the soap, causing water to evaporate and initiating the drying process before entering the vacuum spray chamber.
Drying
The liquid soap is sprayed into the vacuum spray chamber via the feed pump. Through a controlled combination of temperature and vacuum, the water evaporates, achieving the desired humidity level in the soap. Steam separated from the soap is condensed in the barometric group. Spatulas inside the vacuum spray chamber scrape the soap off the internal walls, causing it to precipitate and fall into the Plodder. To recover and recycle soap particles produced in the vacuum spray chamber, cyclones are used to separate the particles from the vapours.
Steam Condensation
All steam generated within the drying plant is sucked from the vacuum spray chamber and cyclones by the vacuum group. The steam is then condensed in the Barometric Condenser, continuously converting it back into water. Depending on production levels and soap type, there are various configurations available for the drying plant. Qazi Engineering Pvt. Ltd. design, manufacture, and deliver complete drying process plants tailored to your specific requirements.
Main Equipment Highlights
The saponification crutcher is a vessel where the raw materials, including oils, fats, and caustic soda, are heated and agitated to initiate the chemical reaction known as saponification. This soap manufacturing process transforms the fats and oils into soap.
The soap feed tank stores the filtered soap mixture, allowing it to be transferred to the subsequent stages of the spray drying process.
The heat exchanger helps regulate and control the temperature of the soap mixture before it enters the spray chamber/atomizer.
In the spray chamber/atomizer, the soap mixture is atomized into fine droplets using specialised nozzles. These droplets are exposed to a hot air stream.
The twin worm duplex vacuum plodder is a soap making machine that processes the dried soap powder, compressing and extruding it to form soap bars or pellets.
A vital component in soap production, the Soap Bar Cutter precisely slices freshly formed soap bars into uniform, market-ready shapes, ensuring consistent product dimensions and quality.
Soap stamper has a very important role in stamping and giving a new touch to the toilet and laundry soap bars and ensure its visual appeal of the final product. It has the ability to give the soap a new size and design, this machinery stand as a cornerstone in modern toilet soap manufacturing plants.
The Automatic Stamper cum Cutter is a pivotal piece of equipment in the soap manufacturing industry, specifically designed for use in toilet and laundry soap plants that employ the spray drying process.
The Powder Separator or Cyclone is a key equipment that separates fine soap powder from the air, helping to maintain air quality and collect soap powder for reuse or disposal, contributing to environmental and operational efficiency.
The ejector booster assists in maintaining and controlling the vacuum within the system, ensuring efficient drying of the soap particles.
The Barometric Condenser aids in controlling the temperature and pressure within the soap drying process, enhancing soap production efficiency and reducing environmental emissions.
The MCC (Motor Control Center) panel houses the electrical controls and circuitry for the various equipment, providing centralised control and monitoring of the soap manufacturing process.
